I believe Laurie and I mentioned to you that, prior to first calling you, we were briefly represented by a local “buyer’s agent” who advertised a rebated portion of her commission as an inducement to work with her. We quickly discovered that the old adage,” you get what you pay for” is as true in the real estate business as anything else. That agent provided us with a list of addresses of homes for sale in the area and instructed us to call the sellers directly for showings and then contact her to write up any offers. Well not only was the agent rarely available, but she lacked motivation to aggressively negotiate on our behalf. The timing was perfect when we contacted you.

We have known, and worked, with Wade Wright as our estate agent, since we purchased our first home in 1988.
Wade was our representative and was successful in negotiating with the seller’s agent. The real estate market in 1988 was very active and the home we wanted had multiple offers. Wade was able to craft a personalized message that enabled us to be selected over the other competing offers. Wade’s approach was not based on being the highest bidder, but rather the best next owner for the home.
Six years and two young children later, Wade helped us buy our dream home. Again, there were multiple parties interested in the property. He also helped us list, market and sell our home in a very fast time frame. We lived in our home for 18 years and raised both of children through high school and into college.

That new acquaintance soon led us to the realization that we were also regular attendees of the same local church.
